Helping your child develop—or regain—a healthy relationship with food and their body isn’t easy in this world. I’m here to help.

MEET OONA HANSON

I work closely with parents to ease their fears, empower them to have confidence in what they’re doing, and help them tap into their instincts and intuition. I support you during a tough time in your child’s life. Maybe your adolescent is struggling with their body image, or they’ve changed their eating or exercise habits in ways that concern you. Maybe you’re eager to protect your kids from the harmful messages in our culture. Maybe your child has received an eating disorder diagnosis, and you’re overwhelmed. When you’re feeling lost, I’m by your side, offering resources, guidance, and hope.

MY APPROACH

With training in Educational Psychology, a passion for parent education, and my lived experience of helping a child recover from an eating disorder, I bring both research-based and practical approaches to supporting families. I listen to your concerns with compassion and curiosity; together, we will develop strategies to bring more peace and joy to your home, one meal at a time.

Oona helped us shift everything—our thinking, our actual support team, our relationship to our daughter, and her eating disorder recovery process. Oona will always be one of the (very few) bright lights in this very dark chapter in our lives. I will never be able to thank her enough.
